The Coordinating Secretary of the Tax Appeal Tribunal, Mrs Anita Erinne has called for effective tax implementation of tax laws across the nation, and assured the taxpayers of timely dispensation of Tax Disputes at the Tribunal.
The Coordinating Secretary made the call while delivering a lecture as a Special Guest and discussant at the 3rd distinguished personality lecture organized by the Society of Women in Taxation in honour of Prof. Olateju Abiola Somorin, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria Past President and Retired FIRS Coordinating Director and First Female Professor of Taxation in West Africa.
The lecture was held in recognition of the Society of Women in Taxation's shared vision that birthed the establishment of the Society in 2010 and the contributions of the honouree as a Past President of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria; having also distinguished herself in the taxation profession as the first female Professor of Taxation in West Africa.
The historic event that was held on Monday, May 12 2025 at the Nigerian Society of Engineers Hall, Off Labour House Road, CBD- Abuja witnessed the presence of heavyweight Tax Experts and Administrators and eminent intellectuals to generate policy formulation toward definite and deliberate socioeconomic development in Nigeria.
Other discussants were Prof. Abiola Sanni and Mrs Wendy Kuku SAN.
